What's new in Quickie

Every meaningful change to Quickie, newest first. We ship improvements for window, gutter and pressure-washing rounds all the time.

  1. Rounds that show what they earn

Rounds now show one-off, monthly and yearly estimates, planner cards carry the address, price, time and notes, and adding a customer is safer and quicker.

    • NewRounds list: one-off, monthly and yearly totals for each round, plus a total row across the business.
    • NewRound detail: revenue cards, a client address plot, and per-client monthly/yearly estimates.
    • ImprovedWeek and month planner cards now show round colour, address, planned duration, price and a notes marker.
    • ImprovedAdd contact: Google-style address suggestions when a Google key is configured, and duplicate creates are blocked.
  2. Know what you actually keep

Quickie now tracks what the round costs to run, and works out your real profit — gross and net, measured on money that actually landed. Logging costs is free on every plan.

    • NewExpenses: log a cost and snap the receipt — the camera opens straight away on a phone.
    • NewRecurring costs like insurance or the van: enter once, counted every month, no retyping.
    • NewProfit on your reports — gross vs net, where the money went by category, and a 12-month profit trend.
    • ImprovedThe report CSV now carries costs, profit and a category breakdown — the file your accountant wants.
  3. Proper PDFs for quotes and invoices

Your quotes and invoices are now real branded PDFs — attached to the email automatically, and downloadable from the customer's page. A scruffy quote loses work no matter how good the cleaning is.

    • ImprovedQuotes and invoices email with the PDF already attached — no link to chase.
    • Improved“Download PDF” now gives a real, properly typeset document rather than a browser print-out.
    • NewPart-payments, balances and a PAID stamp all show on the PDF, so it always matches what's owed.
  4. Bring your round with you

Switching software used to mean retyping your round. Now the importer knows what Cleaner Planner, Aworka, Squeegee, George and Round Tracker export — and rebuilds your schedules from it.

    • NewPick where your CSV came from (or let us guess) and the columns map themselves.
    • NewPrices and frequencies come across as real repeating schedules — “4 weekly”, “every 8 weeks”, “monthly” all understood — so your round keeps booking itself.
    • NewImporting never contacts your customers, however many rows you bring.
  5. “Who owes me” + chasing that escalates

A single list of everyone who owes you, worst first — and an automatic chase that gets firmer over time instead of sending the same nag forever.

    • NewMoney ▾ → Who owes me: every customer with an outstanding balance, their oldest invoice, how overdue it is, and how much you could collect by Direct Debit right now. Free on every plan.
    • ImprovedPayment chasing now escalates: a gentle nudge at 7 days, a firmer reminder at 14, a final notice at 30 — each sent once, on the customer's preferred channel — and then it stops.
    • NewChase or collect any customer on the spot from the list.
  6. Direct Debit — get paid without chasing

Customers can now pay you by Direct Debit, the rail most UK rounds already run on. Send a link, they sign once, and every clean collects itself the moment you mark it done.

    • NewSend a customer a Direct Debit set-up link by email or text — they sign with their bank in about a minute, and you never see their bank details.
    • NewCollect on completion: mark a clean done and Quickie raises the invoice and collects it automatically.
    • NewPayments reconcile themselves when the money clears — the invoice flips to paid, the customer gets a receipt, and you're emailed if a collection fails.
  7. Text messages (SMS) for customer comms

Every automatic customer message — confirmations, day-before reminders, on-my-way, running-late, review requests and payment chasers — can now go out by text as well as email. Each customer picks how they'd like to hear from you.

    • NewA “Text messages (SMS)” switch in Settings → Communications sends texts to customers who prefer them.
    • NewA “Preferred messages” choice on every contact: Email, Text message (SMS), or both — with a sensible fallback so nothing is silently dropped.
    • NewTexts count toward the plan's monthly message allowance, just like emails — no per-text surcharges.
  8. Offers, bundles & referral rewards

Run prepaid bundles, discounts and seasonal deals — and a referral scheme that pays the referrer only once the new client has a clean, then takes the reward off their next visit automatically.

    • NewDefine offers: prepaid bundles (pay for 10, get 12), % discounts, review rewards and seasonal deals.
    • NewTrack referrals — who referred whom — with a reward that only qualifies once the referred client has a clean done.
    • NewOn Pro, the referrer's reward auto-deducts off their next booked clean; effectiveness stats show what's working.
  9. Get a scattered round back on track

See a round's next cleans at a glance, and pull a round that's drifted apart back together — a few days at a time so clients aren't annoyed.

    • NewA Round health card showing every client's next clean date in one list — no more pressing each job.
    • New‘Tighten this round’ moves the next cleans toward the middle, capped at ±2 or ±3 days, with a preview before you apply.
    • NewA back-on-track projection that tells you how many rounds until a messy schedule is fully bunched.
  10. Win back lapsed clients (and blacklist the rest)

When a client stops, record why and keep them in a Warm/Cold re-engagement list — so a lapsed round becomes future work. And blacklist the ones you never want to chase.

    • NewMark a client inactive with a reason (moved, too expensive, competitor…) to move them into the win-back pipeline.
    • NewA Win-back page that splits lapsed clients into Warm (had a clean) and Cold (never did).
    • NewBlacklist a contact with a reason — excluded from follow-ups and flagged with a banner.
    • NewOn Pro, lapsing a client auto-schedules a win-back follow-up a month out.
  11. A week planner, day statuses & paid/unpaid at a glance

Plan the week by dragging jobs between days, work the day marking each clean done, skipped or rescheduled, and instantly see which jobs are paid and which aren't.

    • NewA week Planner showing every job across seven days — drag, or use a menu, to move a job to another day.
    • NewOn My round, set a job cleaned, skipped (with a reason) or rescheduled to another day.
    • NewPaid vs unpaid colour coding on completed jobs across the planner, calendar and day views.
  12. Recurring schedules that book themselves

Set a client up once on any cadence and Quickie keeps their cleans booked — with a separate first-clean price, a choice of how many to keep ahead, and edits that only ever touch future jobs.

    • NewFlexible cadences — repeat every N days, weeks, months or years, for any service.
    • NewCharge a higher first-clean price (for an initial deep clean) and a standard price thereafter.
    • NewKeep the next job — or the next two — booked automatically; on Pro it tops up the moment you complete one.
    • NewChange a client's cadence (e.g. monthly → every 2 months) or remove a schedule — past and completed jobs are always kept.
  13. Sticky labels & job notes

Flag anything special about a customer or a single visit — a ladder, a gate code, a preferred method — and see it on the day's round so it's never missed at the door.

    • NewColour-coded sticky labels (e.g. “Ladder needed”, “Side gate code”) you create once and attach to a customer or a single job.
    • NewA note you can add to any job on the schedule, plus the customer's standing note — both shown on the mobile round card while you work.
    • NewManage your labels from Settings → Sticky labels; free on every plan.
  14. Plans & pricing — Solo, Pro & Business

Quickie now has clear plans. Start free on Solo, step up to Pro for automations, online payments, the route planner and reports, or Business for unlimited crew, the audit log and API. Change plan any time — pro-rata, with credit on downgrade.

    • NewThree plans: Solo (free), Pro (£29/mo) and Business (£79/mo), with monthly or annual billing (two months free).
    • NewUpgrade, downgrade or switch cadence from Settings → Plan & billing — upgrades are pro-rata and downgrades apply a credit.
    • NewA monthly allowance of automated customer messages on paid plans (1,000 on Pro, 5,000 on Business), with a small per-message rate beyond it.
    • NewA friendly grace period if a payment fails — your data and features stay put while you update your card.
  15. Sign in your way — passwords, social & passkeys

Magic link is no longer the only way in. Add a password, use Google/Microsoft/Apple, or sign in with a passkey — and manage it all from Settings.

    • NewEmail & password sign-in, with a full forgot/reset-password flow.
    • NewSocial login with Google, Microsoft and Apple (whichever your deployment configures).
    • NewPasskeys (Face ID / Touch ID / Windows Hello / security keys) for sign-in and in Settings.
    • NewA new Account & security area: change your email, set/change your password, and manage passkeys and connected accounts.
  16. Live ETAs — for you and your customers

The round's ETAs recompute from now as you work, customers see a live arrival time, and you can nudge them when you're running late.

    • NewMy round ETAs recompute live from the current time as you tick stops off.
    • NewCustomers see a live “you're stop N of M today · ETA ~HH:MM” on their private hub.
    • NewSend a “running late” heads-up from the round — or let Quickie send it automatically when the day slips.
  17. Time windows & a working day that fits

Give a job a soft 'between 10 and 12' window, set your working hours, and let the planner flag stops that won't fit.

    • NewSoft arrival windows on a job — the route waits if early and flags a late arrival.
    • NewWorking-day hours + max stops/driving per day, with an overflow warning when a day is too full.
    • NewPush an overflow stop to the next day or reassign it to a colleague in one tap.
  18. See your day on a map

Plot the day's route on a map, with sharper drive-time estimates from your clients' real locations.

    • NewA map of the day's route on the planner — numbered stops in driving order.
    • NewOptional geocoding caches each client's location for a real map and sharper estimates (free UK option, no API key).
    • ImprovedDrive times now say honestly whether they're a postcode estimate, a map estimate, or live road times.
  19. Drag the route, and ETAs everywhere

Reorder stops with a drag, set how long each service takes, and see arrival times across your round and calendar.

    • NewDrag-and-drop reorder on the route planner (the up/down buttons stay too).
    • NewPer-service default durations in Settings — used by the planner and when booking a round.
    • ImprovedEstimated arrival times now show on My round cards and calendar chips, and in the 'on my way' email.
  20. A route that plans itself around your day

Set the fixed times that matter and the day's driving order arranges itself — and re-arranges when you change them.

    • NewA time-aware Route planner: fixed-time jobs become anchors and the rest fill in by proximity.
    • NewEstimated arrival times per stop, a whole-route directions link, and per-job durations.
    • ImprovedMove a stop by hand and it sticks — no more re-jumbling. One tap to auto-optimise again.
  21. Rounds & route days

Group the clients you clean together, then book a whole round on a date in one tap.

    • NewNamed, colour-coded rounds — assign clients from a contact or in bulk.
    • NewA round planner with one-tap 'book this round' for every due client on a date.
    • ImprovedRound colours show across the calendar and your daily round, with a round filter.
  22. Let customers help themselves

A public booking page that turns visitors into leads, and a private hub for your customers.

    • NewA shareable “request a clean” page — every request lands as a lead, tagged Website.
    • NewA no-login customer hub showing each client's upcoming cleans, quotes and invoices.
    • ImprovedCustomers can now accept or decline a quote right from its page.
  23. Keep customers in the loop

Confirm bookings, remind the day before, tap “on my way”, and ask for reviews — automatically.

    • NewAutomatic booking confirmation and day-before reminder emails to customers.
    • NewA one-tap “on my way” nudge from the round with an ETA (throttled so it can't spam).
    • NewPost-job review requests on a delay, with a click-tracked link to your review page.
  24. A tougher, smarter round

Work with no signal, drive in the right order, and capture proper before/after photos.

    • NewMark jobs done and add photos offline — they sync automatically when you reconnect.
    • NewOptimise the day's driving order by postcode and open directions for the whole round.
    • NewMultiple before/after photos per job with captions and a tap-to-zoom lightbox.
  25. A public help centre, product imagery & trust pages

    • NewEvery guide is now a web page at /guides — read the full steps without leaving the site.
    • NewAnnotated previews of the dashboard, the mobile round and a client invoice on the homepage.
    • NewA testimonials & trust band, plus Privacy and Terms pages linked from the footer.
