This is a general template provided for transparency and is not legal advice. Please have your own terms reviewed by a qualified professional before relying on them for your business.
1. Using Quickie
Quickie is provided to help you run a window, gutter or pressure-washing business — tracking leads, scheduling jobs, sending quotes and invoices, and getting paid. You must be at least 18 and use the service lawfully and only for your own business.
2. Your account
You sign in with a magic link sent to your email, so keep access to that inbox secure. You're responsible for activity under your account and for the teammates you invite. Tell us straight away if you think someone has gained access without permission.
3. Your data and content
You keep ownership of the data you put into Quickie — your contacts, jobs, quotes, invoices and notes. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and display it so we can provide the service. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for having the right to store your clients' details. See our Privacy policy for how we handle it.
4. Payments
Quickie is free to start. Online card payments you take from clients are processed by Stripe under their own terms; you're responsible for your Stripe account and for any tax, fees and refunds relating to the payments you collect. If paid plans are introduced, their pricing and terms will be made clear before you opt in.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to send spam or to contact people without a lawful basis.
- Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Upload unlawful, harmful or infringing content.
- Resell or misrepresent the service as your own.
6. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Quickie available, but the service is provided “as is” and we can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features, and we'll give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Quickie is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law. Quickie is a tool to help you run your business — decisions you make using it remain your responsibility.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Quickie and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken. On termination you can export your data, after which we delete or anonymise it as described in the Privacy policy.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts there have jurisdiction.
