Privacy policy

Last updated: 3 June 2026

This policy explains what information Quickie collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It's written to be readable — if anything is unclear, get in touch.

This is a general template provided for transparency and is not legal advice. Please have your own policy reviewed by a qualified professional before relying on it for your business.

Who we are

Quickie is a customer-relationship tool for UK window, gutter and pressure-washing businesses. Inthis policy “we” means Quickie, and “you” means the account holder using the service.

Information we collect

  • Account details — your name and email address, used to sign you in with a magic link (we never store a password).
  • Business data you enter — contacts, leads, jobs, quotes, invoices, payments, notes and photos you add to run your round.
  • Usage data — basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the app is used, so we can improve it.
  • Technical data — your browser type, device and IP address, collected automatically to keep the service secure and working.

How we use your information

  • To provide the service — store and display your CRM data, send magic-link sign-in emails, and deliver the reminders and reports you switch on.
  • To take payments — when you connect Stripe, card payments are processed by Stripe; we don't store full card details.
  • To improve and secure the product — diagnose problems, prevent abuse and understand which features help most.
  • To contact you about your account — important service messages and, only if you opt in, product updates.

Your clients' data

You control the contact details and records you add about your own customers. You are the data controller for that information and are responsible for having a lawful basis to store it; we process it on your behalf to provide the service.

Sharing and third parties

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the providers needed to run the service, such as:

  • Stripe — to process online card payments you take from clients.
  • Our email provider — to deliver sign-in links and the notifications you enable.
  • Our hosting and analytics providers — to run and improve the app.

Keeping data safe

Access to your data is scoped to your organisation, transmitted over encrypted connections, and protected by industry-standard safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your data seriously.

Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to certain processing. You can export your contacts at any time from the app, and deleting your account removes your data. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you close your account we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we must keep records to meet legal obligations.
