What it does
The Planner is a week view of all your scheduled jobs (and due follow-ups), one column per day. From here you can:
- Move a job to another day by dragging its card to a different column, or using its move menu (the arrow on the card) to pick a day.
- See paid vs unpaid at a glance — a completed job shows a green money icon when it's paid and an amber one when it isn't.
- Flip between the Week planner and the existing Month calendar with one toggle.
It complements the Calendar (month view) and My round (the day-by-day working view).
Where to find it
Header → Schedule → Calendar, then click Week in the toggle at the top right (URL: /dashboard/calendar?view=week). Switch back with Month.
Step by step
Move a job to another day
- Drag: press and hold a job card, drag it onto another day's column, and let go. It re-books to that day immediately.
- Menu: hover a job card, click the → (move) button, and choose a day from the list.
Either way you'll see a confirmation and the planner updates straight away.
Change the week or who you're looking at
- Use ‹ / › to step a week back or forward, or This week to jump back to today.
- Use the assignee dropdown to show everyone, just you, unassigned jobs, or a specific team member.
Read the colours
- Blue job icon — scheduled.
- Green job icon — completed.
- Money icon on a completed job — green = paid, amber = unpaid (so you can chase what's owed).
- A coloured left edge on a card means the client belongs to that round.
What each screen shows
- A header with the week range, the Week / Month toggle, the assignee filter and week navigation.
- Seven day columns (Mon–Sun). Today's column is ringed. Each column lists that day's job and follow-up cards; empty days show a dash.
- Job cards show the service + client, the estimated arrival time when known, the price, the paid/unpaid money icon, and a move (→) menu.
Tips & good to know
- The Planner is free on every plan.
- Jobs here are usually date-only; moving one keeps it date-only. To set a specific time, open the job (or use the Route planner).
- Need to mark a job done, skipped or rescheduled while you're working? Use My round (the day view) — see My round.
- The Month calendar shows the same paid/unpaid colour coding.
Troubleshooting
- A job won't drag: only job cards move — follow-up reminders stay put (they follow the contact's follow-up date).
- "No scheduled jobs this week": check the assignee filter isn't narrowing you to a person with nothing booked, and that you're on the right week.
