Round Health & "Back on Track"

See when a round's next cleans are due at a glance, and tighten a round that's drifted apart — moving each clean by no more than 2–3 days at a time so clients aren't annoyed, until the whole round is back on the same few days.

What it does

Over time a round gets scattered: clients reschedule, and their next cleans drift across the month. Round Health helps you pull them back together:

  • Next cleans at a glance. A simple list of every client's next booked clean, earliest first, with the date and how soon it is — no clicking into each job to check.
  • How spread out it is. A "Spans N days" badge tells you how scattered the round is.
  • Tighten this round. One click moves the round's next cleans toward the middle, capped at ±2 or ±3 days each, so nobody's clean jumps by a big margin. You see a preview of every move before applying.
  • Back on track. Because each pass only moves things a little, a badly scattered round takes a few cycles to fully bunch — the panel tells you roughly how many ("Back on track in ~4 rounds").

The at-a-glance list and the spread are free. Applying the tightening is a Pro feature (it's part of route optimisation).

Where to find it

Header → Schedule → Rounds → [a round]. The Round health card sits at the top of the round's page (/dashboard/rounds/[id]).

Step by step

Check when the next cleans are due

Open the round. The Next cleans list shows each client and their next booked clean date (e.g. "11 Jun 2026 · in 3 days"), earliest first.

Tighten a scattered round

  1. In Tighten this round, choose the cap: ±2 days or ±3 days (how far any one clean may move).
  2. Read the summary — e.g. "Moves 4 cleans by up to ±3 days, shrinking the span from 23 to 17 days. Back on track in ~4 rounds."
  3. Check the preview — each client's clean shown as old date → new date (±Nd).
  4. Click Apply this pass. The cleans move to their new dates and the span tightens.
  5. Repeat next time the round comes around — each pass tightens it further until it's bunched.

What each screen shows

  • Round health card: a Spans N days badge, the Next cleans list, and a Tighten this round panel with the ±2/±3 toggle, a plain-English summary, a per-client preview of the moves, and the Apply this pass button.

Tips & good to know

  • The cap (±2/±3 days) is the whole point — it keeps any single client's clean from lurching to a very different day, which is what annoys people.
  • Tightening moves cleans toward the middle of the round, so far-out ones come earlier and near ones go a little later.
  • It's gradual on purpose. A messy round won't snap to one day in a single pass; apply it each cycle and it converges.
  • Want to nudge one specific clean instead? Drag it on the week Planner or reschedule it from My round.

Troubleshooting

  • "Apply" isn't available: applying the tightening is a Pro feature. On the free plan you can still see the next-due list and the spread, and move cleans by hand.
  • "Already as tight as a ±N-day move allows": the round is bunched for that cap — increase to ±3 days for a touch more movement, or leave it.
  • A round shows no cleans: it has no upcoming booked jobs. Book the round or set up recurring schedules first.
