What it does
A round is a named group of clients you tend to clean together (a route day) — for example "Tuesday — Town centre". You can:
- Create rounds with a name, an optional day of the week, and a colour.
- Put clients in a round (one at a time, or in bulk).
- Open a round's planner to see everyone in it and book the whole round on a chosen date — Quickie creates the jobs for you.
- See the round's colour on the Calendar and your My round list, and filter My round by round.
Where to find it
In the top menu, open Schedule ▾ and choose Rounds.
Direct link: /dashboard/rounds
Step by step
Create a round
- On the Rounds page, click New round.
- Fill in:
- Round name (e.g. Tuesday — Town centre).
- Day of the week — optional; pick a day or leave No fixed day.
- Colour — tap a swatch. This colour appears on calendar and round-view chips.
- Click Create round. It appears as a card showing its colour, day and client count.
To change one later, click the pencil on its card; to remove it, click the bin (the clients keep all their data — they just leave the round).
Add clients to a round
From a client's page:
- Open Clients ▾ → Contacts and click a client.
- In the details card, find the Round dropdown and pick a round (or No round to remove them). It saves immediately.
In bulk (lots at once):
- On the Contacts list, tick the clients you want (or "select all matching").
- In the bulk toolbar that appears, open the Set round… dropdown and choose a round (or No round to clear it).
- Click Apply.
Plan and book a round
- On Rounds, click Plan this round on a round's card. This opens the planner.
- Pick the Round date (defaults to today).
- The table lists every client in the round with their next clean, last clean and last price. Clients due for a clean (and not already booked that day) are pre-ticked; tick or untick anyone.
- A green tick instead of a checkbox means that client is already booked on this date — they're skipped.
- Click Book N clients. Quickie creates a scheduled job for each ticked client on that date, carrying their last job's service and price, and sends any booking confirmations.
- You'll see how many were booked (and how many were skipped). The new jobs appear on the calendar and in My round.
See rounds on the field views
- Calendar (
Schedule ▾ → Calendar) — jobs and follow-ups for clients in a round show a coloured left edge in the round's colour; hover for the round name. - My round (
Schedule ▾ → My round) — each job card shows a small round chip (colour + name), and a round filter lets you show just one round's jobs for the day.
What each screen shows
- Rounds list — a card per round with its colour dot, day, client count, and Plan this round, plus New round / edit / delete.
- Round planner — the round's name/colour/day, a Round date picker, a Book button, and a table of clients (select, name + status, postcode, next clean, last clean, last price).
- My round — a round chip on each card and an All rounds filter dropdown.
Tips & good to know
- A round needs clients before you can book it — assign some from the contact page or the Contacts bulk action first.
- Prices carry forward. Booking copies each client's most recent job service & price, so repeat cleans come through at the right rate (£0 if they've never had a job — edit it after).
- No double-booking. Booking skips anyone who already has a job scheduled on that date.
- Colours are yours to choose — use them to tell route days apart at a glance on the calendar.
- Deleting a round never deletes clients or their jobs.
Troubleshooting
- "No clients in this round yet" — add clients from a contact's Round dropdown or the Contacts bulk action.
- A client wasn't booked — they were unticked, or already had a job on that date (shown with a green tick).
- The round filter isn't on My round — it only appears once you have at least one round.
- Wrong price on a booked job — the client's last job had that price (or none). Open the job and edit it.
