What it does
- Offers. Define reusable promotions: a prepaid bundle (pay for 10 cleans, get 12), a percentage discount, a referral reward, a review reward (for a Google/Nextdoor review), or a seasonal deal (summer/winter, with a date window).
- Grant & apply. Grant an offer's credit to a client, then apply it to a clean to take money off the price (a % off, or a whole free clean for a bundle).
- Referrals. Record who referred whom. A referral only qualifies once the referred client has had a clean done — then the referrer earns their reward, which (on Pro) is automatically deducted off their next clean.
- Effectiveness. Each offer shows how many credits have been applied, the total £ discount given, and — for referrals — how many have qualified, so you can see what's working.
Free vs Pro
Creating offers, recording referrals, granting and applying credits by hand are free. The automatic parts — a referral qualifying the moment the referred client's clean is completed, and the reward auto-deducting off the referrer's next clean — are a Pro feature (LOYALTY). On the free plan you do those steps with one click each.
Where to find it
- Manage offers: Header → Money → Offers (
/dashboard/offers). - Grant offers, record referrals, apply credits: the Loyalty & referrals card on any client's page.
Step by step
Create an offer
- Go to Money → Offers and click New offer.
- Pick a type:
- Prepaid bundle — set Pay for (e.g. 10) and Get free (e.g. 2).
- Percent discount / Referral / Review / Seasonal — set the % off. Seasonal offers also take a start/end date.
- Add a name (and notes), then Create offer.
Run a referral (the headline)
- Set up a Referral offer (e.g. "Refer a friend — 50% off").
- On the referred client's page, in Loyalty & referrals, click Record who referred …, search for the referrer, choose the referral offer, and save.
- When the referred client has a clean completed:
- On Pro, the referral qualifies automatically and the referrer's 50% is deducted off their next booked clean — no action needed.
- On the free plan, click Mark clean done on the referral, then Apply to next clean on the credit that appears.
Sell a prepaid bundle
- Create a Prepaid bundle offer (Pay 10, get 2 free).
- On the client's page, Grant offer → pick the bundle. They receive the free cleans as credits.
- Apply a credit to a clean to make that visit free.
What each screen shows
- Offers page: a card per offer with its type, value, notes, and stats — applied, £ given, and (for referrals) qualified.
- Loyalty & referrals card (on a client): who referred them, the referrals they made (with status), their credits (pending ones have an Apply to next clean button; used ones show the £ taken off), and a Grant offer button.
Tips & good to know
- A referral reward is intentionally conditional — it only becomes real once the new client actually gets a clean, so nobody games it.
- Applying a credit changes the booked clean's price directly, so it flows straight through to invoicing and revenue.
- Use the stats on the Offers page to compare schemes — if "Refer a friend" has lots of qualified referrals, lean into it.
- Pause an offer (edit → it shows as Paused) to stop granting it without deleting its history.
Troubleshooting
- "No upcoming clean to apply this credit to": the client has no future booked clean — book one (or set up a recurring schedule), then apply the credit.
- A referral didn't auto-qualify: automatic qualifying is a Pro feature. On the free plan, use Mark clean done on the referral.
- "This client was already recorded as referred": each client can be recorded as referred once.
